Actress Thora Birch lost some of its Off-Broadway

NEW YORK - A stock was down to the Thora Birch debut on stage in New York.

The 28-year-old actress famous for the film "American Beauty " and "Ghost World" was dropped from Off-Broadway revival of "Dracula" at the Little Shubert Theater a few weeks before the opening.

Birch was scheduled to play the love interest of Count Dracula. Now the role of Emily Bridges, the daughter of Beau Bridges, which is filled played a minor role.

Manufacturer of events does not mention why Birch released, but the New York Times reports that Jack Birch, the father and manager, denied that back massage was on the other actors of his daughter.

Removal of birch does not change the official opening ceremony, set for Jan. 5
